Four people nabbed in regional drug bust, more expected

A series of raids and and arrests in Ottawa and Gatineau have four people facing drug-related charges.

Officers searched five addresses, including homes on Dieppe Street, Montreal Road, Rue Goyette, Boulevard de L'Amérique Française, Rue Lambert. In their searches, they seized drugs, ammunition, replica handguns, cash and vehicles.

Walter Hackbarth, 50, of Ottawa is facing charges of:
*       Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking x 3
*       Possession of proceeds of crime over $5000 x 1

James Dunphy, 38, of Ottawa is facing charges of:
*       Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking x 3
*       Possession proceeds of crime over $5000 x 1

Nathalie Dessureault, 41, of Gatineau is facing charges of:
*       Possession of a schedule II substance x 1
*       Possession of schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking x 1

Devan Jones, 25, of Gatineau is facing charges of:
*       Possession of a schedule I substance x 1
*       Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking x 1
*       Possession of a schedule III substance x 1

Drugs seized are still to be analyzed and confirmed by Health Canada. More arrests and charges are expected.
