Gatineau man arrested and charged in death on Highway 50

The Sûreté du Québec has a man in custody after a collision on Highway 50 in Gatineau, which left one one person dead.
Officers at the Outaouais highway station were called to the scene of a head-on crash between two vehicles at 7 a.m., September 7.
The drivers involved were alone in their vehicles.
Mathieu Larcher-Ethier, 29, of Gatineau, was arrested Wednesday.
He is scheduled to appear today at the Gatineau Court House to face charges of manslaughter, criminal negligence and dangerous driving.
