Officers found a man suffering from stab wounds in his arms and legs on Rue Eddy, but later determined that he had been attacked on Rue Garneau.

Then, around 3 p.m. that same day, officers were called to Rue FX Bouvier for another stabbing. A 54-year-old victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries in that case.
