Hundreds of comic books taken in Ottawa break-in

Investigators are hoping someone will step forward with information which could lead to the identification of a suspect in this theft.

The search is on for whoever stole a large comic book collection in rural south Ottawa.
    
According to the Ottawa Police Service, the theft happened during a break-in between February 6 and February 8. Officers have not disclosed the location of the home, in order to protect the investigation.
    
About 900 comic books were taken in the incident.

Anyone with information regarding this break and enter is asked to call the Ottawa Police's Break & Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 3515. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa police app.
