Impaired charge laid near Smiths Falls after OPP spot car making pass on curve

A 28-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after an incident just outside of Smiths Falls.
Ontario Provincial Police say they were on Hwy 43, near Frizell Road on August 27, when officers reportedly witnessed a driver passing another car on a curve in the road.
To avoid a crash, officers were forced to take evasive action and drive up onto the shoulder.
Kyle MacDougall of Smiths Falls is facing charges of impaired driving, careless driving and driving without a licence.
