Late night shooting in Lowertown sends one man to hospital

Another shooting in the capital, this time in Lowertown.
Officers were called to Beausoleil Drive and Murray Street around 11 p.m. on Thursday.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating but no arrests have been made.

This is the third shooting this week, the fifth shooting in the month of May.
On Monday, Mouhamed Serhan, 24 was shot and killed on Heatherington Road. A 22-year-old man is now facing second degree murder charges.
