Man in his 20s assaulted, found with serious head injuries, in Vanier

Ottawa Police were called to a Vanier apartment building after getting calls about a possible assault.
At around 3 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a call of a person potentially in distress on Blake Street.
There, they found a 20-year-old man with serious injuries, who was transported to hospital.
His status is not yet known, but Ottawa Paramedics say he did sustain head injuries.
Police officers continue to canvas the area, looking for witnesses.
No arrests have been made by police, but they are asking that anyone with information to come forward.
