A 16-year-old from Brockville is facing a charge of stunt driving.

Around 3:15 p.m. Monday, Ontario Provincial Police officers in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township stopped an eastbound motorcycle on Hwy 401 driving 92 km/h over the speed limit.

Officers said the driver accelerated to that speed between the two Brockville exits.

The driver's motorcycle was towed and impounded for 7 days.

The teen is scheduled to appear at Brockville Provincial Offences Court.
