Motorcyclist killed in crash with transport on Hwy 17 in Cobden

A collision between a transport truck and motorcycle on Hwy 17 has resulted in the death of a 38-year-old Cobden man.
Ontario Provincial Police say the crash happened just after 9:30 p.m., Thursday.
The transport was travelling westbound on the highway, while the motorcycle had been southbound on Forrester's Falls Road in Cobden.
The driver of the motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured in the incident.
The investigation into the crash is being conducted by Renfrew OPP officers, with the assistance of traffic collision investigators.
