Nakayla Baskin found safe in east Ottawa thanks to tip from public

The Ottawa Police Service says Nakayla Baskin has been located safe by its officers.
Officers visited an address in the east end of the city, Wednesday around 11:35 a.m., acting on a tip from the public, where they located the 11-year-old girl.
The OPS says its investigation into this matter continues. Major Crime investigators are looking into any criminal aspects of the investigation.
The service is thanking the public and the media for their assistance throughout the search for Baskin.
