One arrested in 417 power tool incident

A 31-year-old man from Val-Des-Monts, Quebec is facing a few charges after OPP report that the driver of a car on Hwy 417 pointed a power tool at another driver in a threatening way.
The Ontario Provincial Police said the incident happened around 3 p.m. on Saturday, in the eastbound lanes near Maitland Avenue.
The suspect vehicle, which was being driven dangerously, had exited the highway before officers got to the scene but with evidence provided by the victims and witnesses, the suspect was located and arrested.
The accused has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and uttering threats.
