One man in police custody after east-Gatineau homicide

The Gatineau Police Service has made an arrest in a homicide on Saint-Paul Street.

David Emond, 22, of Gatineau was taken into custody at 1 a.m., Friday, but police have not said what he is being charged with.

Officers were called to a home on Saint-Paul Street for an injured person, at about 9 a.m., Thursday.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a man with serious injuries. He was quickly taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The police investigation and steps to notify the family of the deceased continue.
