One person dies in west end collision

A 65-year-old man was killed in a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Merivale Road and Baseline Road on July 1.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking witnesses to the incident that took place just before 11 a.m.

The collision involved a black 2020 Ford F150 that was pulling an orange trailer and a 2010 red Dodge Journey. The 65-year-old driver of the red Dodge Journey was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.
