OPP close Carleton Place snowmobile trail after collision involving pedestrian

A snowmobile trail is closed in Carleton Place after the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says a snowmobile hit a pedestrian.

The OPP tweeted about the collision around 4:40 p.m., Monday, February 22.

Officers say one person is in hospital, but their condition is not known at this time.

The trail is closed between Franklin Street and Albert Street.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
