OPP identifies driver in fatal snowmobile collision in Ingleside

Officers continue to investigate the incident.

A 44-year-old South Stormont man is dead after a snowmobile crash on County Road 2, in Ingleside, between Morrisburg and Cornwall.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving a snowmobile and passenger vehicle just after 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 23. 

Police say the driver of the snow machine ventured onto the road and was hit by an eastbound vehicle.

Yanick Tremblay was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OPP continues to investigate the collision, with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
