OPP investigating fail to remain collision

The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that occurred on May 12 in Pembroke. 

At roughly 6:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Lea Street, a pedestrian was struck by a car. The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene. A dark coloured sedan with tinted windows has been identified as the possible suspect vehicle. 

The 33-year-old pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.  

The OPP is seeking witnesses and is asking anyone with surveillance or information from this incident to contact police.
