Orléans motorcyclist identified as deceased in Winchester crash

The Ontario Provincial Police is identifying a 67-year-old Orléans man as the person who died in a recent collision at the intersection of County Road 31 and County Road 43 (South Junction) in Winchester.

Investigators say a southbound SUV entered the northbound lane and hit a motorcycle, around 5 p.m. on June 4.

The driver of the motorcycle, Peter Heppleston, was pronounced deceased at scene.

Police are still working to figure out exactly what caused the collision.
