Ottawa man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls

A 77-year-old Ottawa man is facing charges after a police investigation into allegations of sexual assault involving children. 

Earlier this month, Ottawa police started looking into incidents involving two young girls under the age of 10. 

Gerard ‘Joseph’ Chamberlain, 77 is being charged with:

  • Sexual assault (three counts)
  • Sexual interference (three counts) 

He is currently in custody, and investigators are concerned there could be other victims.
