Ottawa police charge man after indecent exposure incident in public bathroom

The man was arrested outside of a business on Ogilvie Road.

A 46-year-old Ottawa man is facing charges after police investigated an allegation of someone exposing themselves to a child.

On the afternoon of March 1, frontline patrol officers were called to a commercial business on Ogilvie Road, near Blair Road, regarding a man exposing himself to a child in a public bathroom.

The man was arrested without incident outside of the business.

Andre Ronald Houle has been charged with one count of exposing genitals to a person under 16 years for a sexual purpose. He is scheduled to appear in court, Tuesday, March 2.

Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims and is asking the public to contact them if they have any further information regarding this incident or others.

Houle is described as:

  • White
  • 6' 0'' (183 cm)
  • Medium build
  • Wavy, light brown hair
  • Was wearing a red lumberjack coat at the time of the offence
