Ottawa police investigating shooting in Heron Gate

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) wants to hear from anyone who has information about a shooting on Walkley Road in Heron Gate.

Officers were called to the area around 2 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, and found shell casings on the ground.

A silver sedan was seen leaving the area, and police believe it may have been involved in the incident.

There have been no reported injuries as a result of the shooting.

In addition to the search for witnesses, police would also like to speak with anyone who may have been in the area and may have dashcam footage from around the time of the shooting.
