UPDATE: Ottawa police investigating shooting just east of Train Yards

The Ottawa Police Service is hoping to hear from witnesses of a shooting on San Remo Private, just off Riverside Drive near Ottawa Train Yards.

Officers responded to a call about a shooting in the area around 6:15 p.m., on Wednesday, March 24, and found that a bullet had caused damage to a house.

Shell casings were found at the scene, but no one was injured.

Police believe the incident was targeted.
