FOUND: Ottawa police looking for missing 20-year-old, last seen in Sandy Hill

The Ottawa Police Service has located Micah Sammurtok, 20, safe and sound. 

The service would like to thank the public for their assistance.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public's help in finding Micah Sammurtok. 

The 20-year-old was last seen on August 9, in the Sandy Hill area, and her family is concerned for her safety. 

Sammurtok is described as:

  • Indigenous
  • 5' 11'' (180 cm)
  • 200-250 lbs (91-113 kg)
  • Shoulder-length dark brown hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Tattoo of an arrow on one of her arms and often has fake nails 

Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Sammurtok is asked to call the OPS at 613-236-1222.

Anyone with any information which could help in the investigation can call the OPS' Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2355, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., on weekdays.
