Ottawa police officer hit by car which refused to pull over on Heron Road

The Ottawa Police Service is searching for the driver of a vehicle which struck a traffic officer at Heron Road and Prince of Wales Drive.
It happened at around 8:55 a.m., Friday, as the officer was attempting to pull over the vehicle.
We are looking for a four-door black Acura (TL or TSX, unknown year) with a smashed out passenger window.
There was only one person in the car — a man driving the vehicle.
The officer has been transported to hospital for treatment as a precaution.
