Ottawa police searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ man connected to Lowertown shooting

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) asking for the public's help to find a man wanted in relation to a shooting on Dalhousie Street in Lowertown.

Police say two men were shot near St. Andrew Street on December 18, and suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries. They have since been released from hospital.

Noel Perez, 26, of Ottawa is described as:

  • White
  • 5' 9'' (175 cm)
  • 121 lbs (55 kg)
  • Brown hair
  • Full beard 
  • Brown eyes
  • Two large tattoos around his neck: left side says '537' and the right side reads 'dedicated'

Perez is considered armed and dangerous. Police are asking residents to call 911 immediately if they spot him — do not approach. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
