Ottawa police searching for suspect in St. Laurent commercial break-in

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in a commercial break and enter near the St. Laurent Shopping Centre.

Officers say the incident happened on June 8.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance, leaving a business while carrying a large package which appears to be a back-support massage cushion. 

The man left the area on bicycle and then boarded the O-Train.

The suspect is described as:

  • White
  • Thin build
  • Short brown hair
  • Tattoos on both forearms and on the top of left hand

The suspect was seen wearing:

  • Maroon jacket
  • Black jeans
  • Black sneakers with a white sole
  • Black and white Under Armour gloves
  • Black mask covering his mouth and nose
  • Black headphones
  • Black backpack

On another occasion, the suspect was seen wearing a dark-coloured, long-sleeved shirt.
