Overbrook shooting sends one to hospital with critical injuries

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a shooting in Overbrook, which sent one person to hospital.

Officers responded to a call about shots fired on Queen Mary Street near Lola Street, around 11 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022. 

Police found a man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with critical injuries but is now in stable condition. 

Officers also spotted damage on several parked vehicles. 

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident. They are also looking for anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or anyone who may have dashcam or security footage.
