Police asking witnesses to come forward in Mechanicsville shooting

Investigators are looking for anyone who may have been in the Parkdale Avenue area at the time of the incident, and may have dashcam footage or security footage.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) wants to speak with anyone who has any information about a shooting in an apartment on Parkdale Avenue in Mechanicsville.

Officers found two men, ages 54 and 24, suffering from gunshot wound at 131 Parkdale Ave., near Burnside Avenue, at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20.

Both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are also looking for anyone who may have been in the area and may have dashcam footage or security footage.
