Police break up brawl at Rideau Lakes long-term care home

No charges have been laid after Ontario Provincial Police investigated an assault at a long-term care facility in Rideau Lakes Township.

Officers say a physical dispute between two woman, ages 79 and 86, erupted over seating for bingo at about 1:15 p.m., Tuesday.

The dispute lead to an argument which prompted some of the residents in the room to become involved in the brawl. 

There were no reported serious injuries in the incident.
