Police charge 73-year-old man with murder in Clarence-Rockland

Russell County OPP have laid first degree murder charges after a man died in Clarence-Rockland. 

Police were called to a home on Tuesday for reports of gunfire, and when they arrived they found Paul Jobin, 75. He was rushed to hospital where he later died. 

Police arrested Richard Fortin, 73, on Tuesday and following an investigation, charged him with first-degree murder. 

Fortin will be in court on November 13 in L'Original to answer to the charges. 

Police continue their investigation.
