Police charge man in two bank robberies

Ottawa police have arrested a 25-year-old man who allegedly robbed two banks last week.
Police said Aidan Scott entered a bank in the 2200 block of Bank Street on December 18 and produced a note demanding money. He then fled after a bank employee handed over money, according to police.
He then allegedly entered a different bank in the 1200 block of Wellington Street on December 21 and produced a similar note, said the Ottawa Police Service. He was arrested the following day.
Scott appeared in court Sunday and has been charged with:
- Robbery with Violence x2
- Disguise with Intent x2
