Police investigating reports of gun shots in city’s east end

Ottawa police are investigating a shooting that happened in Vanier and are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

According to the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit, shots were fired on Friday at about 2:50 p.m. in the area of Montreal Road and Cyr Avenue.

The shots are believed to have come from a vehicle.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
