Police investigating Bridle Path assault and robbery

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a personal robbery in a neighbourhood just south of South Keys.

Officers say a person who was selling their phone online had arranged to meet with a buyer on Bridle Path Way, just west of Albion Road, around 8:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 12. 

Police say two men arrived together, assaulted the seller and stole the phone.

The victim sustained minor injuries. 

The first suspect is described as:

  • Black
  • 6’2” (188 cm)
  • Thin build
  • Was wearing a two-tone winter coat, light-coloured jeans with torn knees and white running shoes

The second suspect is described as:

  • Middle Eastern
  • Wearing a grey hooded coat, black pants and light two-tone shoes
