FOUND: Police looking for 52-year-old woman, last seen in Britannia area

Update 9:10 a.m.: Ottawa police say Muguette Roy, 52 has been located safe.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in the matter.

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for public's help to find a missing 52-year-old, last seen in the Britannia area.

Officers say Muguette Roy's family is concerned for her well being and safety. 

She was last seen in on Zephyr Avenue, near Britannia Park and Beach, on March 8 at 3 p.m.

Roy is described as:

  • Woman
  • 5' 6'' (168 cm)
  • 145 lbs (66 kg)
  • Long brown hair with bangs
  • Glasses
  • Blue eyes 
  • Was wearing brown Ugg boots with fur around the top, blue jeans and a grey sweater/coat with turtle neck  

Roy is believed to be on foot as her vehicle was recovered earlier Monday near the Bayshore Shopping Centre.

If you have information that could assist investigators, but do not know where she is currently, please contact the Ottawa Police Missing Persons Unit 613-236-1222, ext. 2355 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
