Police looking for federal offender known to frequent Kingston

The Ontario Provincial Police is looking for a man, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Richard Weerts, 54, is serving a three-year and nine-months sentence for robbery and possession of a weapon. 

He is described as an Indigenous man, 5' 9″ (175 cm), 168 lbs (76 kg) with black hair and one brown eye.  He is missing his left eye and has a tear drop tattoo just below it. On his right cheek, he a Tomahawk tattooed. He also has several tattoos on both arms.  

Weerts is known to frequent Toronto, Kingston and London.
