The Ottawa Police Service is looking for a man, who it says forced a woman into Hiawatha Park before sexually assaulting her.

The incident happened last Saturday morning, around 2 a.m.

The victim was approached from behind on a residential street and forced into the park near Hiawatha Park Road.

Police explained that the suspect grabbed the victim and took off her jacket, which then gave the victim the chance to run. She ended up finding help at a nearby home.

Officers were called but were unable to find the suspect.

The man is described as white, standing between 5' 4'' and 6' 1'' (163-185 cm), with a deep voice and was wearing dark baggy clothes at the time.
