FOUND: Police looking for missing elderly man last seen in Bridlewood area

UPDATE: The Ottawa Police Service has located Anton Tkachik, 84, in good health.

The Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man who was last seen in the Bridlewood area.

Police say Anton Tkachik, 84, of Ottawa was last seen Wednesday when he left with his vehicle to attend a nearby plaza but never made it to his destination.

He drives a recent model Honda Accord four-door blue bearing Ontario marker CDRE 436.

Tkachick is described as a white male, 5’8” with short grey hair, and was wearing a hat, jacket and jeans.

Tkachick also has a medical condition that requires him to take regular medication, so there are immediate concerns for his health and welfare.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 2355 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
