FOUND: Search underway for missing 15-year-old, last seen in Heron Road area

Update: 04:34 a.m.: The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) says an OC Transpo constable located the missing teen safe and sound on Sunday.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public's help to find a missing 15-year-old girl.

Officers say the teen was last seen on July 7, 2021, around 11 a.m. in the Heron Road area. 

Her family is concerned for her safety.

The 15-year-old  is described as:

  • White
  • 5' 3'' (160 cm)
  • 132 lbs (60 kg)
  • Shoulder-length hair that may still be dyed purple
  • Nose piercing
  • Blue eyes

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222.

Anyone with any information that could assist investigators, but do not know where she is can contact the Missing Persons Unit 613-236-1222, ext. 2355, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., daily.
