Police confirm fatalities, nine people critically injured in bus crash at Westboro Station

Ottawa Police Chief Charles Bordeleau confirms that there have been multiple fatalities in a serious bus collision at Westboro Station.
He did not say how many people have died.
The Ottawa Hospital has confirmed nine patients from the crash are in critical condition. Overall, 17 were taken to hospital. One person was treated at the scene.
The double-decker bus, OC Transpo Route 269, smashed into the roof which hangs over the platform at the station at 3:50 p.m., Friday.
The City of Ottawa is expected to hold a news conference at 7 p.m., in order to give more details.
