Stunt drivers stopped in an OPP traffic blitz

Ontario Provincial Police officers have caught a few people driving vehicles at excessive speeds in the Stormont Dundas & Glengarry area.
A 42-year-old North Glengarry woman is facing a stunt driving charge after police stopped a vehcile travelling at 111 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone on County Road 43, Monday morning.
Also on Monday, a vehicle was stopped after going 152 km/hr along Hwy 417 in North Glengarry. A 41-year-old man from Lasalle, Quebec was charged with stunt driving.
Finally, around 2:46 p.m. on Tuesday, a vehicle was spotted traveling 133km/hr in an 80km/hr zone on County Road 20. A 19-year-old woman from North Glengarry was charged with stunt driving.
In all cases, the vehicles were impounded and the driver's permits seized for seven days.
