Suspicious man offered kid candy or ice cream in Orleans area

The Ottawa Police Service says it is investigating the suspicious actions of a man in the Orleans area.
A 10-year-old boy was approached by a man, at about 3 p.m. on September 24, in the area of Scala Avenue and Portobello Boulevard.
The man was driving a black sedan and asked the child if he wanted candy or ice cream.
The child ran away.
The driver is described as a black or dark-skinned, English speaking man, between 20 or 30 years old.
