Three men facing charges after mid-afternoon Hog’s Back Road shootout

Two men are facing charges of attempted murder, while another has been charged with firearms offences after a shootout on Hog's Back Road.

Police say, around 3:45 p.m. on September 18, 2020, two men shot at another man, who then retaliated.  

Emmanuel Pinard, 35, and Michael Nicolitsis, 41, both of Ottawa, have been charged with attempted murder and conspiring to commit murder.  

The targeted person, Brandon Longo, 35, also of Ottawa, has been charged with several firearms-related offences for his role when returning fire.  

No one was injured in the shooting.

All three accused were scheduled to appear in court Thursday, March 25, 2021.
