Three pedestrians hit in Vanier South intersection

All three, including two children, are in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ottawa paramedics responded to an incident on St. Laurent Boulevard at McArthur Avenue to treat three people who had been hit by a vehicle.

Officials say the collision happened at 10:13 a.m., Thursday.

A child suffered a serious head injury but is in stable condition, another child sustained minor injuries, while a woman in her 40s also suffered a head injury.  All of the victim's injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The Ottawa Police Service had closed St. Laurent Boulevard from Donald Street to Cote Street. 

That road has since re-opened.
