Ottawa police and fire crews have launched a search near the Deschenes Rapids, on the Ottawa River, after reports of an empty kayak and car.
Officials were called to the area just after 9 a.m., Wednesday, to find a car parked on the side of a nearby road and a kayak in the water, but no sign of the person they belonged to.
