Woman rescued from Upper Rideau Lake

A woman is in critical condition after driving off a boat launch in Rideau Lakes Township.
Police officers were called just before noon last Friday, after reports that a woman had driven off a boat launch at Forrester's Landing Drive.
Emergency crews arrived within five minutes to find the vehicle fully submerged in Upper Rideau Lake.
The OPP emergency response team and a volunteer firefighter dove into the water and rescued the woman.
The 57-year-old was taken to a hospital in Kingston.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
