Body found after house fire in Golden Lake area, west of Eganville

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reporting the discovery of a body after a house fire on Quade Lane, near Golden Lake.
The North Algona Wilberforce Fire Department and Renfrew County Paramedics, responded to the fire around 9:20 a.m., Sunday, October 31.
The deceased has yet to be identified.
The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office, the Office of the Chief Coroner, a Forensic Anthropologist, the OPP Forensic Identification Services, and the Renfrew County Crime Unit are investigating the blaze.
The cause of the fire is not suspicious at this time, according to the OPP.
