The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking for suspects after two signs, designed to deter residents from encroaching on Pembroke and Area Airport property, were stolen.
A pair of 'no trespassing' signs went missing from airport property on Len Hopkins Drive in mid-April.
Police say the Pembroke and Area Airport has recently had issues with people trespassing on its property by foot, as residents walk their dogs, and by vehicle and on off-road vehicle.
Anyone found trespassing on airport property may still be charged under the Trespass to Property Act of Ontario.
Anyone with information regarding this theft and/or trespassing incidents is asked to contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP at 613-735-0188 or Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or at www.valleytips.ca.
