OPP seize fentanyl, methamphetamine during Pembroke traffic stop

Two people are facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Pembroke.

Around 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Mary Street.

Officers seized a drugs during the traffic stop and two people were arrested.

Jason Blair, 48, of Golden Lake, faces the following charges:

Possession of a schedule 1 substance – methamphetamines
Driving while under suspension

Rebecca Cunningham, 46, of Pembroke, faces the following charge:

Possession of a schedule 1 substance – fentanyl

Both have been released and are due in court in Pembroke on November 16, 2021.
