Police searching for witnesses of Almonte crash involving pedestrian

The OPP is also looking for the driver of the vehicle which hit the pedestrian.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to speak with anyone who may have seen a crash between a vehicle and pedestrian in Almonte.

Officers say the incident happened in the morning hours of Thursday, January 7, 2022, at the intersection of Martin Street and Main Street. 

The pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries

The driver of the vehicle is described as:

  • A man
  • In his 30s
  • 6' 0''
  • Driving a small black car
