Rapid antigen test kit pop-up sites announced for Cornwall but not Ottawa for coming week

Rapid test kits are being distributed in Saskatchewan to residents for at-home testing for COVID-19.

A couple of pop-up sites to nab rapid antigen test kits have been announced for Cornwall, but Ottawa is absent from the Ontario government's list.

The provincial government updated its schedule for pop-up sites on Thursday, January 13, which include two sites for Cornwall.

They are:

  • Cornwall Square at 1 Water Street East on Friday, January 14 at 7 a.m.. Advanced registration is required.
  • Cornwall Square on Saturday, January 15 at 7 a.m.. Advanced registration is required.

Kits will continue to be distributed using a controlled ticket system.

Tickets will be available for pick up on a first come, first served basis or until all tickets have been given out (whichever comes first).

Tickets were available on Thursday, January 13 from 4:30 p.m.-6:45 p.m.

A separate entry to the distribution location will be located not he exterior north side of the Cornwall Square.

The exterior door will have clear and visible signage.

People are asked to dress for the elements as the line up will be located outside.

Photo ID and proof of address will be required.
