UPDATE: OPP identify deceased in crash north of Cobden

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says a 27-year-old Pembroke man is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Beachburg Road.
Officers responded to the incident around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12.
Investigators say a westbound car lost control on a curve and collided with an eastbound SUV.
The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital by paramedics with minor injuries. The driver of the passenger vehicle, Brandon Anthony, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
As a result of the collision Beachburg Road was closed between Finchley Road and Westmeath Road for several hours.
An OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigator are assisting with the investigation.
